This is my personal page. I am a Jew by blood and traditions, but an atheist by choice; speak Russian, English, and Ukrainian; born and raised in Ukraine; now I live in the USA and consider myself a citizen of the World. I still love and miss my home-town Kiev.

I'm interested in physics, math, history, and photography. On this site you'll be able to find information on the topics mentioned above plus the story of tragedy at Babi Yar (a massacre of more than 33,000 Jews in two days in Kiev during the first month of occupation by the Germans in 1941), a collection of links to on-line math class notes, and some other interesting facts. Also, I have a large collection of old postcards of Kiev (late 19th, early 20th century).
